birthday! Join George Washington, VPM PBS KIDS and families with
children 4 - 7 y.o. to explore the fun adventures of _XAVIER RIDDLE
AND THE SECRET MUSEUM, _learn about real-life historical heroes
including Rosa Parks, Eleanor Roosevelt, Leonardo da Vinci and George
Washington, and enjoy the PREMIERE SCREENING OF _XAVIER RIDDLE AND THE
SECRET MOVIE: I AM MADAM PRESIDENT _at the Virginia Museum of History
& Culture from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. on February 22. 3:00pm - Fun
Activities, 4:00pm - Movie starts. FREE!
In the Xavier Riddle series, Xavier, his sister Yadina and their
friend Brad face a problem and turn to the Secret Museum to help them
solve it. The museum allows them to travel back in time to meet
real-life historical heroes when they were kids. They witness pivotal
moments that shaped iconic people and learn important life lessons
along the way!
ANY KID CAN BE A HERO! XAVIER RIDDLE AND THE SECRET MUSEUM TAKE A
FRESH AND ACCESSIBLE APPROACH TO TEACHING KIDS ABOUT HISTORICAL HEROES
AND THE EXPERIENCES THAT SHAPED THEIR LIVES, while exploring
social-emotional concepts and character skills such as COURAGE,
RESILIENCE, AND SETTING AND ACCOMPLISHING GOALS.
Parents and chaperones will remain with their children at all times.
