Well, you’ve found the right Meetup GROUP AND COMMUNITY.Lantera Labs hosts The Richmond Creative Group. This Creative Group is a collective of people with the common interest of design. During February s meetup we will kick off with an a short piece on design trends followed by an open discussion/workshop. Be prepared to chat, listen and learn from everyone involved. Richmond Creative Group is lead by Alice Pettey (M.F.A.) and Judy Smith, they cover everything from the Adobe Suite, Common Software (inkscape, gimp, etc.), working with clients, and how to get clients.
