Cherry Blossom Photography Workshop 03-28-26 - Vienna, VA 2026

Description Enjoy premium golden-hour light and exclusive, pre-opening access to Meadowlark Botanical Gardens! This photography session focuses on all things Cherry Blossoms, including landscapes, close-up/macro shots and wildlife. Meadowlark features both beautifully curated gardens and rich natural areas—an ideal setting for wildlife photography. And of course, you are welcome to focus on any subject that inspires you. All skill levels and all types of equipment are welcome. If terms like shutter speed, aperture, and ISO sound unfamiliar, feel free to attend the optional introductory segment at the beginning of the session, where we’ll cover camera settings and essential techniques. Participants are also free to begin exploring the gardens immediately upon entry. * This program is not intended for paid portrait photography sessions. * The workshop will be postponed in the event of inclement weather. * A $25 activity fee includes instruction and special early-morning garden access. * Ages 12+ * Dress for the weather—this program takes place entirely outdoors.
