DescriptionThis is the next step for youth archers who are experienced
shooters and serious about taking their archery to the next level.JOAD
is a developmental program that uses the USA Archery curriculum. To be
eligible to join the JOAD program, members must own their own bow,
have completed at least two seasons of the Star Shooters Youth Archery
program and be able to shoot a score of 55 points or higher in that
class (Exceptions can be made those with substantial archery
experience outside of the Star Shooters program (e.g. NASP, etc.) JOAD
registration cost includes star pins earned and lanyard to hold them.
Additional membership in USA Archery (www.usaarchery.org) is highly
recommended and required to compete in most tournaments, but not
required to initially participate in the JOAD program. Registration
for this program must be done by calling the Parks and Recreation main
