These screenings lead into the upcoming production Akira Kurosawa Explains His Movies and Yogurt (With Live & Active Cultures!), running May 4 – June 1, 2025. Written by Julia Izumi, this play explores Kurosawa’s cinematic legacy, cultural imperialism, and his unexpected fascination with yogurt.
