DAY 1, JUNE 6, 2020: We will meet at the ANACORTES Chamber of Commerce
in their upstairs meeting room at 10am for a short presentation. 819
Commercial Avenue, ANACORTES. From there, depending on the weather, we
will venture out within a 20-minute radius. You will be given maps,
the agenda, and other info upon arrival. Please make sure to bring
your gear, water, and a sack lunch. Once on location, we will have a
demo and paint until 4pm. Dinner plans will be announced. All are
welcome._WE WILL HAVE A SPECIAL SESSION WITH SUZIE AFTER DINNER, WHERE
SHE WILL CONDUCT A Q&A REGARDING PLEIN AIR AS A BUSINESS.__ Please
sign up separately (in the ticket section) if you want to attend. We
need an accurate headcount prior to the workshop._
DAY 2, JUNE 7, 2020: At 9am, we will meet at a designated location as
agred to on day one. Past locations have been in La Conner, Deception

Lodging: The Majestic Hotel is a luxury hotel right across from the
Scott Milo Gallery. Other hotels in Anacortes are all reasonable and
good. The Fidalgo Country Inn is centrally located to where we are
going each day, as well.
Food: There is a great sandwich shop across from the Scott Milo called
the "Gere-A-Deli". There are also two grocery stores in town.
Anacortes has several types of restaurants, including Mexican, Greek
and Seafood, so pick your faire!
There is a small art store in town for supplies, but they don't have
very much to choose from: The Good Stuff, 604 Commercial Avenue.
Closed Sundays. Other art stores are Dakota Art on Memorial Highway
(17873 WA-536) and Tri-Dee (215 S. 1st street) Both in Mount Vernon.
Tri-Dee is the only one open on Sundays. Check hours before going!
It is a good idea to print this information out before attending
event. No refunds, sorry. Please try to carpool whenever possible.

of improved value in my paintings. Suzie was well organized, presented
the material in a clear manner and was patient with all the questions
I’m sure she’s answered hundreds of times. I definitely recommend
her to others!” Elyse Taylor
