------------------------------------------------ Marcie is the Founder
and Head of Production for Frank & Lively, a London-based purveyor of
ethically sourced and authentic storytelling. Aside from her work in
film, she is an editorial contributor for the Guardian, Financial
Times, Campaign, and The Drum. With her BA in Journalism and MA in
Film Production, she is a guest lecturer at the Met Film and continues
to support the education of young female storytellers through Film
London EAN and Brighton Film School. Marcie is proud to be named a
BAFTA Guru. As a warrior against gender inequality in the media
industry, Marcie is listed as One to Watch on Campaign Magazines
Future Female List 2017. She continues to raise the profile of SheSays
a global creative network for women of which she is a long-standing
director. In 2018, she founded Nough Talk: Lets Get Shit Done, a
consistently sold-out event series that celebrates and inspires women
in advertising. Her recent feature film APOSTASY received a BAFTA
nomination, six British Independent Film Award nominations including
Breakthrough Producer for Marcie and was named Best British Film of
the Year by SCREEN. We are honored to hear Marcie's story about her
journey as an artist, experiences in film production, and
relationship-building in the world of media.
