Description This American Red Cross Course includes certifications in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED, Administering Emergency Oxygen and Preventing Disease Transmission. All students must be at least 15-years-old and complete the following pretest: Swim-Tread-Swim - Swim 150 yards using Crawl or Breaststroke, tread for 2 minutes without arms, swim 50 more yards. Goggles are allowed. Timed Event - Swim 20 yards, retrieve a 10-lb brick from the bottom of the lap pool, return 20 yards swimming with the brick. On the return, the brick must be held at the surface in both hands, kicking only. No goggles allowed. Submerging - Submerge to the bottom of the dive tank, retrieve the 10-lb brick, return to surface with the brick.
