Radiant Child® Yoga (RCY) 1-3 is Yoga Alliance Accredited innovative 30-hour training program designed for everyone interested in teaching yoga to children of all ages. One of the first child yoga training programs worldwide, and developed by pioneer, Shakta Khalsa, it provides enlightening results for ALL children, including those with ADD, ADHD, and Autism.
This Course will be taught SEE Knowledge Center, Bainbridge Island, WA
Friday - March 1st 9:30am - 6:30pm
Saturday - March 2nd 9:30am - 6:30pm
Sunday - March 3rd 9:30am - 4pm
In Radiant Child Yoga Training, you’ll learn how to:
Teach children ranging from toddlers to teens
Create hundreds of lesson plans using the plethora of RCY materials that are included in the training
Lead yoga classes that are fun for everyone, including you
Enrich children’s mental and physical health through captivating movement, relaxation, and mindful meditation
Use effective and age-appropriate, self-calming and self-regulating techniques
Give children tools they can take home with them as well as use at school
Learn how to stay in your center and have clear, meaningful interactions with children
Who Should Attend?
Yoga teachers of all traditions
Early childhood education providers, K-12 public and private school teachers
Therapists working with children with sensory integration, ADHD & Autism
Parents, grandparents, & nannies
Previous yoga experience is helpful but not required
About the Trainer:
About Sue…Sue has been facilitating Radiant Child Yoga Teacher Training since 2003 and has trainer over 400 teachers. She works with children and adults of all ages and abilities. Sue has a B.Sc., M.B.A. and Diploma in Education. Sue also has wide experience in working with children with Special Needs and bringing yoga to them.
Sue is passionate about giving the Gift of Yoga to children and believes that yoga is an instruction manual for children to live their best life. Yoga keeps children happy, healthy and fully alive. Sue has 3 children of her own and in addition to teaching yoga she is a high school math and science tutor.
Course Fee:
$250 Deposit Required.
Due by Feb 18th - $750 Regular Registration (Payment in full (includes Deposit)
After February 18th - $775 Late Registration (Payment in Full (Includes Deposit))
