The CASCADE PBS IDEAS FESTIVAL BRINGS TOGETHER JOURNALISTS, newsmakers, and innovators from around the country to talk about the issues that are animating our cultural conversations. The FESTIVAL INCLUDES LIVE RECORDINGS OF TELEVISION AND PODCASTS FROM THE ATLANTIC, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, Vox, Slate, Pushkin, NPR and PBS; as well as community meetups, meet-and-greets, food trucks, DJs, and more. Current speakers include: Malcolm Gladwell, Heather Cox Richardson, John Bolton, Lindy West, Nada Bshir, Celeste Headlee, Elahe Izadi, Naomi Fry, David Greene, Alexandra Schwartz, Sarah Isgur, Mo Elleithee, Martine Powers, Meagan Hatcher-Mays, David Rind and many more to be announced! Past speakers include Eric Holder Jr., Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, Deepak Chopra, Audie Cornish, Anthony Fauci, Nikole Hannah-Jones, Nancy Pelosi, Jane Goodall, Macklemore, Judy Woodruff, Rick Steves, Matt Damon, Heather Cox Richardson, Robert Gates and many more. Click here for a look at past festival speakers. FESTIVAL SCHEDULE: This year's Cascade PBS Ideas Festival takes place on May 4th, 2024 in person at the Amazon Meeting Center. TICKETS: Festival Pass - $25 Includes: General admission to all Saturday activities including the community meet ups, sessions, happy hour (21+) and closing keynote VIP Pass - $100 Includes: Admission to all Saturday activities including the community meet ups, sessions, happy hour and closing keynote Priority entry admission to Saturday sessions and keynote Two drink tickets to the Saturday happy hour (21+) Commemorative tote bag and keynote speaker book bundle Access to session replays and bonus content ACCESSIBLITY: Wheelchair accessible.
