Description Internet Registration has not begun yet. Check Registration Dates in details. Scottish Country Dancing is the social dancing of Scotland without any of the competitive aspects. It has a long, interesting history and is one of the root influences for U.S. folk dancing. You will progress from learning the basic steps and figures, then put them together into more complex dances. Participants will enjoy moving to the music of jigs and reels and eventually the elegant strathspey. Soft soled shoes without heels or slippers are recommended.
