Sponge classes are immersion based and designed to instill a love of language and culture while developing language skills. Our native-speaker teachers use thematic units and a communicative approach, with lots of movement, games, music, props and gestures that allow everyone to join in the fun. Young learners are primed for language learning - research shows that students are 70% more likely to gain fluency when they begin in elementary school or younger. Learners of all skill levels are welcome to join - no prior language exposure required! For the spring session, students will focus on learning common vocabulary related to pets. They will be able to name common pets and describe the animals including size, color, and body parts. Students will also learn to identify various activities that animals do such as running, flying, sleeping, eating, etc.
