The annual banquet is an inspirational evening supporting and celebrating the achievements of all women in science. Seattle AWIS is honored to recognize three outstanding women who have advanced their fields of scientific research, education, and outreach. Undergraduate women studying science, technology, engineering or math at a Washington college or university are selected based on outstanding letters of recommendation, financial need, community service and a strong interest in pursuing a career in STEM.
