The Way of the Moving Mystic

Pre-requisite:  Soul Motion: Foundations Soul Motion: The Way of the Moving Mystic is an advanced-level program open to ALL who have completed Soul Motion: Foundations. Next Series is: May 27-31, 2020; October 21-25, 2020 & February 10-14, 2021 Led by Faculty of the Soul Motion School.  This first offering is led by Michael Molin-Skelton and Aletia A. Alvarez As somatic practitioners, we continue to unfold and learn within the tradition of conscious dance as a metaphor for understanding the alchemy of our everyday lives. Mysticism is “a constellation of distinctive practices, discourses, texts, institutions, traditions, and experiences aimed at human transformation, variously defined in different traditions.”  Wikipedia Our path is to continue to open and receive the wisdom of body vision and knowledge.  This program takes the next step in receiving and recovering the somatic resources available to us through movement, ritual, poetry, nature, journaling, prayer, art, and the dynamics of tending space. Tuition includes online calls with the group between each series. Soul Motion:  The Way of the Moving Mystic is a three-part series.  To be completed together. (each session of the series is five-days).  Included in tuition is monthly on-line group calls with faculty, as well as individual one-on-one calls with peers and faculty.
