The second Club Oly FALL FROLIC will take place on the Chehalis
Western Trail in Olympia and Lacey. The 5 mile event will take place
on Saturday September 17, 2022, starting at Chambers Lake Trail Head,
just off the Chehalis Western Trail. Start time for the 5 mile event
is 9:00am. There will be a FREE kids' race for children 12 and under
starting at 8:45am Packet pick up will be at South Sound Running,
Olympia, on the day before the race - Friday September 17. The event
will be chip timed. All participants in the 5 mile event will receive
a draw string bag and a sun visor marked with the event logo. There
will be prizes awarded in 10 year age group categories. Come and take
part in this exciting Fall event. KIDS' RACE !!!!! There will be a
short race for chikdren (12 years and under) at 8:45 am, before the
main race starts. ENTRY FOR THE KIDS' RACE IS FREE. Sign up at packet
pick up on Friday, September 16, or on morning of race. ENTRY FEES: 5
MILE RACE - $35 5 MILE RACE CLUB OLY MEMBERS - $30 ENTRY AFTER ACTIVE
ENTRY CLOSES - $40/$35 KIDS' RACE - FREE This race will be the first
in the CLUB OLY 2022/23 RACE SERIES. Discounted entry fee will be
offered on the final race of the series to runners who have entered
all events. Prizes will be offered to those with best placings across
the series. Event details and schedule Date: Saturday September 17,
2022 Start and Finish: Chambers Lake Trail Head Course: The race will
take place on the Chehalis Western Trail. Parking: Parking in the
Chambers Lake Trail Head is VERY LIMITED. Participants will be asked
to park at nearby locations. Start times: Free Kids' Race (12 and
under) - 8:45am 5 Mile Race - 9:00 am Please arrive at the start 15
minutes before your start time. Results will be based on chip timing.
All participants in the 5 mile event will receive an event bag and a
sun visor branded with the event logo. The Chehalis Western Trail will
NOT be closed to the public during this event, so please remember to
stick to the right hand side of the trail when running and respect the
needs of other trail users.
