Love special effects makeup? Want to incorporate foam or latex
prosthetics into your next cosplay or costumed character? A Masquerade
Costume can help with our in-store makeup classes! The
instructor Shawn Morse is a professional special effects makeup
artist who uses prosthetics in feature films, theatrical productions
and haunted houses. He will demo and explain everything you need to
know about bringing your next character to life with prosthetics in a
special 1-hour class, covering application, coloration and removal.
All attendees will receive a special 20% discount on in-store
prosthetics and makeup supplies, when you shop before or after class!
Sponsored by Stage Frights and A Masquerade Costume.
The FREE 1-hour demo and instruction runs 5pm to 6pm and is limited to
12 students.
Class after-hours shopping continues until 6:30.
Special event: From 6:30pm to 7:30pm, Stay and Play workshop is
available for a nominal $20 fee, where you can practice skills you
just learned, using one "grab-bag" second-quality foam latex
prosthetic demo provided by our sponsor, Stage Frights. Store Staff
make-up artists on hand during Stay and Play Workshop to answer
questions. This after-class hands-on workshop is limited to 8
students. Each of the 8 workshop students is permitted to work on a
live volunteer model they arrange in advance on their own, or practice
on themselves (bring a stand-up hands-free mirror). *
