Mike for Renton Canvass 4/12

Come canvass for Mike Westgaard’s campaign for Renton City Council! Let’s elect someone who will fight for working people. M ike is a proud union shop steward and longtime Seattle DSA member – his campaign envisions connecting our chapter to the organized labor movement and the working class struggle in South King County. Mi ke is a champion for housing and transit for all, ending the war on drugs, and defending Raise the Wage Renton! Mike is running as a democratic socialist in a grassroots campaign against a Chamber of Commerce backed establishment incumbent – to win he will need OUR HELP! We’ll meet at the Renton Downtown Library, then head out to talk to neighbors about Mike’s campaign, and gather signatures to get him on the ballot. We will be organizing carpooling options, if you need a carpool please enter the relevant information into the Action Network RSVP form. First time canvassers are welcome.
