Join us for an evening in conversation with Bill Gates and the release
of his memoir, Source Code: My Beginnings, the origin story of one of
the most influential and transformative business leaders and
philanthropists of the modern age. Source Code is the human, personal
story of how Bill Gates became who he is today: his childhood, his
early passions and pursuits prior to the heyday of Microsoft and the
creation of the Gates Foundation. Mr. Gates is a technologist,
business leader, and philanthropist. In 1975, he co-founded Microsoft
with his childhood friend Paul Allen and today he is the chair of the
Gates Foundation. Bill is the founder of Breakthrough Energy, an
effort to commercialize clean energy and other climate-related
technologies, and TerraPower, a company investing in developing
groundbreaking nuclear technologies. Bill Gates grew up in
Laurelhurst, has three children and still resides in Seattle. Each
ticket includes a copy of Source Code: My Beginnings by Bill Gates
which will be distributed in the lobby of The Moore Theatre the night
of the event. Must be present at the show to claim your copy. This
evening is presented in partnership with STG Presents and the Elliott
Bay Book Company.
