The color and GRAIN OF CUT WINE AND CHAMPAGNE CORKS, combined with OTHER POTABLE-themed elements in the creation of these wine cellar and liquor cabinet guardians.No.4 includes both cork and wine barrel elements, as well as the added touch of piano parts distilled from a recent project involving a dismantled 1913 Hallet, Davis & Co. upright. No.1 and No.2 will also be on display. No.3 was recently secured by a private collector, where it was wall mounted overlooking a kitchen and dining room. All three of them have been seen on display at Lower Queen Annes Fatcork champagne bottle shop. Artist Anthony Godoy, Idle Grains creative director, will be working and taking questions Thursday evening (9/10 4-8pm), and can be found during most days in the Loft, which overlooks the space once occupied by Seattles Sitka & Spruce restaurant. ** Mindfulness of masks and physical distancing required. Only 2 visitors allowed in loft at 1 time, Plenty of room to wait in the Melrose Market Hall before entry. We follow all Covid19 city/state requirements for this event.
