Join US on Saturday to provide food, supplies and words of encouragement to the community. Be sure to share this event with friends and family too. PRE-EVENT PREP: * Dress warm, layers and comfortable shoes (will be standing or walking) * Don't wear or bring anything too valuable (not to worry; just being cautious) MEETING PLACE: * Meet at Starbucks at 1st & Yesler at 9:00 am * There is street parking near Starbucks (street pay to park) * We will wait about 10 minutes for everyone to arrive and talk about our plan for the morning * Walk over to Occidental Square (Washington St & Occidental Ave) as a group and set up tables with food/supplies SUPPLIES: * All are welcome to bring any supplies and we usually serve Coffee, Hot Chocolate, and Cup of Noodles * Suggested additional items for supplies: FOOD (small & portable items - apple sauce, fruit, snacks, water, donuts, sandwiches, etc) SUPPLIES (Toothbrush/toothpaste, deodorant, baby wipes, hand warmers, gloves, beanies, warm clothes, etc) * See our Amazon Wish List [https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/4WJOBJTUWFQ7] * If you can't bring food/supplies or attend, you can still support Reach Ministry via this link: Donate here [https://www.reachministry.org/donate/] OUR MISSION - MORE THAN JUST SERVING FOOD: * In addition to providing food and supplies, we want to engage with others and make them feel loved. You can ask where they are from (hear their story), give them words of encouragement (God loves them!), and see if they would like prayer (dedicated volunteers available). We will also have Bibles and biblical literature that help to feed the soul. Our goal is to be a light and provide hope and love during this hard time in people's life, while respecting their boundaries.
