Discover the art of food DEHYDRATION—one of the oldest and most effective methods of food preservation. Whether you're looking to preserve your summer harvest or make the most of local farmer’s market finds, this CLASS IS PERFECT FOR BUILDING YOUR PANTRY WITH LONG-lasting, nutrient-rich foods.We’ll cover key topics such as different drying methods, how to choose the right dehydrator for your needs, and best practices for storing your dehydrated goods to maintain quality and flavor. Class taught by Debra, a Master Food Preserver (and member of Fruitland Grange) Open to everyone. Bring yourself and your questions. A pen or pencil for notes may be a good idea too.
