Beginning Hand Sewing & Crafts - Shoreline, WA 2020

Learn the basics of hand sewing, knitting, felting, crafting and weaving in this new class, created to introduce our younger students hand sewing and different types of fiber arts. Students will learn basic hand sewing techniques like threading needles, tying knots, and experimenting with several types of stitches. Students can choose the specific projects they want to work on such as hand sewn puppets, pillows, woven rag rugs, bookmarks, and accessories. The will also learn and work on knitting. It helps to build fine motor skills, finger dexterity, and most important, it will give their creative muscles a work out! All supplies included. This class is supervised by Chelsea Cook, owner of Little Hands Creations.
