The Friends of Big Rock Garden Park invite you to celebrate Mother’s Day with the whole family. Explore this beautiful garden with its meandering paths and wonderful sculptures while enjoying light refreshments, live music, lawn games, and children’s activities. If you drive, please park at Silver Beach Elementary (4101 Academy St.) , which is an approximately 5-10 min. walk along nearby trails to Big Rock Garden Park . Attendees are encouraged to walk, bus, or ride their bikes to the event as well. Parking onsite at Big Rock Garden Park is for ADA permit holders only and available of a first-come, first-served basis. Travel by bike or foot: The park is accessible by bike or foot. Find your bike route by visiting cob.org/bike (look at the "Maps and Trails" dropdown menu) and follow the signs to the park! Travel by bus: Several Whatcom Transportation Authority bus routes serve this area, with a nearby stops at Electric Ave at Alabama St . or Alabama St at Fir St .
