Journey Meditation, located at the spacious and beautiful Abide Yoga
Collective. Enter on the west side of building (Hamilton side) and up
the stairs to the second floor.

Instructions begin promptly at 6:00 pm.
THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN BEFORE AND WANT TO SKIP INSTRUCTIONS: Please
arrive between 6:30-6:35. Journeying begins promptly at 6:40 pm and
doors will lock at this time.
RECOMMENDED: Yoga mat or blanket to lay on, extra blanket, pillow,
water, journal+pen, crystals/stones.
Journeying is easiest explained as a type of meditation, a shifting of
awareness, or a change in consciousness that allows you to experience
powerful and healing symbols from the spirit world or from your
subconscious, however you choose to understand it. These forms of
experience can be cognitive, kinesthetic, auditory, and/or visual. As
you become familiar with Journeying, you’ll notice your spiritual
growth expanding; recognition of how to better care for and heal
yourself—body, mind, and spirit; and a deep connection with your
inner self, power guides, spirit guides, and ancestors. There are
three basic worlds of access in the shamanic practice; we will be
utilizing the Upper and Lower Worlds.
When you arrive, I will introduce Journeying to you, provide you with
background and instructions, explain the theme for the month, and
answer any questions. At 6:40 pm we will lay back, close our eyes, and
Journey to a specific drum beat. We will be doing two 15-minute
Journeys and have time between and after for journaling, Q&A, sharing,
and discussion. Journeying is purposely not a guided
meditation—there will be no talking during the two
Journeys—allowing each person to receive what he/she specifically
and individually needs at this time. Private reiki, tarot and oracle
card readings, and meditation teachings also offered. Please invite
anyone you think might benefit. Come frequently or infrequently. Drug
free environment.

Note: This is a safe and welcoming way to learn about the basics of
Journeying. I am not a shaman; I base my knowledge off of training I
received from a Shaman from 2013-2015, recommended books and
teachings, and my own Journey experiences.
