Transportation Student Industry Night (Eastern Region)

Please join us for a Transportation Student Industry Night!

ITE Washington and ITS Washington chapters are hosting a joint event that will bring together students and transportation professionals for an informational and fun networking event. Students from schools around Eastern Washington and the surrounding areas are encouraged to attend!

This event is an opportunity for students to learn about potential careers within the field of transportation – from planning to engineering and everything in between.  The event will feature a networking hour where students can talk to different companies who will share information about what they do. Then there will be presentation by a panel of transportation professionals that will talk about their careers in transportation from different perspectives such as public agency vs consulting and also different paths within transportation such as design, operations and intelligent transportation systems.

The event is free for everyone to attend and a light dinner will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP by April 22nd to help with event planning (RSVP not required to attend).

About Us

ITE Washington is the local state chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE). The organization brings together transportation professional to share and exchange knowledge. The chapter hosts events throughout the year such as conferences, technical presentations, student nights and more. 

ITS Washington members represent every corner of the transportation technology industry. They are transportation and technology professionals from state, regional, and local transportation agencies, private companies providing ITS products and services, research and academic institutions, and much more. All are actively engaged in research, planning, development, and deployment of intelligent transportation systems.

PARKING

There is vistor parking available on campus. Vistor parking garage is located at 1115 N Hamilton Street (See map below). Parking validation is available and will be emailed ahead of time for participants that request it when they RSVP
