PCSR Softball-Summer Season 2025 - University Place, WA 2025

Description Please note: Special Olympics WA is not offering Summer Sports for 2025. We'll meet each week at the new Sprinker Softball Fields for practices and skill development. Traditional softball will have a range of high to intermediate level softball skills. Athletes are expected to have high to above average knowledge of softball rules, terminology, and baserunning. Athletes should be able to field a ground ball, catch a fly ball, and be able to throw the ball from base to base and consistently hit the ball out of the infield. Anyone that can consistently throw strikes as a pitcher has a very valuable skill. There will also be a Saturday competition/tournament at Sprinker in August. Date and time TBD. Traditional Softball and Tee Ball/Skills practice at the same time and location, athletes may be moved to Tee Ball or Skills based on ability level.
