JOIN US for the PAW 4 AUTISM SPRING DASH ON APRIL 19, 2025, at the beautiful Lapham Peak State Park - a fun and active outdoor event to support children with AUTISM AND THEIR SERVICE DOGS! Be part of a meaningful and inclusive event that unites people of all ages. Whether youre running, walking, jogging, or enjoying a leisurely stroll, this is your opportunity to make a lasting difference. REGISTRATION: $36 (_free parking pass_) Early-bird until March 15th $47 Registration until April 14th $57 After April 14th HOW IT WORKS: 5K RUN: Take on the challenge of a beautiful, well-marked course through the scenic trails of Lapham Peak State Park. * rocky and sandy areas * dirt trails, tree roots, and wash-outs * hilly terrain * option to run with your leashed dog * The run will start at 9:00 AM 2 OR 3 MILE WALK: A relaxed, pet-FRIENDLY WALK WHERE YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR DISTANCE AND ENJOY THE FRESH AIR WITH FAMILY FRIENDS AND LEASHED-DOGS! * choose a paved trail * or, a more challenging trail similar to the 5K * The walk will start at 9:30 AM. IMPORTANT: * Please be responsible pick-up after your pet * Keep pets leashed at all-times! * Trails are not closed to this event and open to the public * All courses will close at 1:30 pm. * Thank you for your cooperation as we ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone! WHY YOUR PARTICIPATION MATTERS: Funds raised will go toward professional service dog training for a child with AUTISM, providing a life-changing companion that will support his journey to greater independence.
