Through all its prophetic imagery, what is happening in the Book of Revelation, and what does it mean for us today? How do you artistically represent the Book of Revelation? In this conversation, InterVarsity Urbana Program Director, Úna Lucey-Lee, and Urbana Artist in Residence, Leslie Iwai, will discuss the theology behind and within _Hold Fast_, an art installation originally commissioned for InterVarsity’s Urbana 2018 Conference, and how it uniquely communicates the story of the seven churches from the Book of Revelation.  This event is designed to complement the _Hold Fast_ art performance on Saturday, November 16 at UPPER HOUSE for which we invite you to register here [https://www.eventbrite.com/e/hold-fast-an-art-experience-tickets-64444983681]. Lunch will be provided.* ------------------------- ÚNA LUCEY-LEE is the program director for InterVarsity's Urbana Missions Conference which exists to mobilize students into serving God’s kingdom around the world. She has been with InterVarsity for more than 20 years, starting her career as a campus minister in California. She made the transition to Urbana back in 2014 after earning a Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary. Additionally, Úna is an ordained minister in the Evangelical Covenant Church and a contributing author to the Small Group Leaders’ Handbook. She currently lives in Madison, Wisconsin.  LESLIE IWAI is an installation artist and sculptor. With an undergraduate degree in mathematics and chemistry from Wayne State College in Nebraska and a Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech, her work is multidisciplinary and material rich. From the Midwest, Iwai cut her artistic teeth in Omaha, Nebraska. Leslie was the first recipient of the Bemis Community Arts Fellowship (2005), and most recently was the Artist in Residence for Urbana 2018 amongst many other awards and residencies. She now enjoys living and exploring Wisconsin with her husband where she makes art, collaborates, and connects with her local community. ------------------------- *_We enjoy extending thoughtful hospitality to our community. To help offset meal-related costs, we invite our guests to consider a $10 contribution for lunch on the day of the event. We are grateful for your support of Upper House programming and hospitality._
