Come lend your voice to our Second Annual Christmas Caroling event!
We'll gather by the St. Ann Center Bucyrus Campus lodge fireplace for
hot chocolate and cookies starting at 10:15 AM on Friday, Dec. 14, and
to distribute song sheets and jingle bells before we go out to carol
at 11:15. Santa and elf hats welcome -- both for warmth and holiday
spirit!
We'll walk east on North Avenue, past Fond du Lac Avenue, to North
17th Street and return, caroling at businesses along the way.
Afterward, there will be a Holiday Market from 1 to 3 PM in the
spacious atrium at the Bucyrus Campus, featuring small businesses and
items perfect for gift-giving.
Vendors interested in participating in the market should contact
Monica Yarn at 414-210-2432 or myarn@stanncenter.org.
“The event was a great success last year, so we decided to turn it
into an annual tradition,” said Sr. Edna Lonergan, a BID 32 board
member and president of St. Ann Center. “CAROLING BRINGS PEOPLE
TOGETHER IN A SPIRIT OF HOPE AND JOY. And that’s what is happening
along the NORTH AVENUE BUSINESS CORRIDOR—it’s full of new life and
growing.”
She, Ald. Russell W. Stamper II, BID Chairperson Sharon Adams and Sr.
Edna invite adults and children, especially those from the
neighborhood, to join in the free fun family outing.
