ABOUT THE BANDS!~~ Crimson House has quickly become a must-have on all
festival lineups, with their unique blend of a bit of blues, a tad of
gypsy, a helping of rock and a whole lot of BOUNCE! This will be their
last show in Johannesburg on their #bounceology album launch tour.
Bombshelter Beast is a A large family of colourful, innovative
artists: a mixed-grill of musical styles for their fan-damily to dance
to! Afro-Balkan Kwaito Skadubhall! It’s nothing you’ve ever
experienced before, and yet it’s quite familiar: think of putting an
Afrikaans opera singer, a Polish refugee playing the accordion, a
UK-born kwaito star and SA’s most astute linguist rapping it up, and
you have half the picture - the rest has to be experienced live!
Harrebaard is 'Die Ooms se Band', led by the one and only sweetheart
of Afrikaans comedy Frank Opperman . They've been on the scene for
longer than most artists have been alive, and they can rock harder
than them, too! Expect didgeridoos, slide guitars made of kitchenware
and testing lyrics about biblical figures... Sea of green have
recently taken on some major festivals across the country and are
popping up on all the right radars. They have a wide variety of
musical styles infused in their music with upbeat swing, gypsy, funk
and afro serving as the main influences. ~~~~
