Hungry meat-lovers, listen up! Every Wednesday this May, VADAS
SMOKEHOUSE AND BAKERY IS OFFERING A SUPER-sized BURGER: a 600g Farmer
Angus BURGER PATTY SERVED ON A VADAS BAKERY BURGER BUN, garnished with
tomato, cheese and lettuce. The BURGER IS SERVED WITH PORK FAT FRIED
CHIPS AND A PINT OF BEER. “This burger pays homage to the
incredible beef we get from Farmer Angus who rears his cattle with the
utmost care and dedication in Spier’s pastures,” explains Chef PJ
Vadas.
Unlike conventional, grain-fed feedlot beef, these are happy cows
indeed: they’re fed grass just as nature intended, are free to roam,
and never receive routine antibiotics or hormones.
“We’re convinced this results in tastier meat. If you’re up for
the challenge, we’re sure that you’ll agree,” says Chef PJ.

R250 and is exclusively available from Vadas Smokehouse & Bakery at
Spier Wine Farm in Stellenbosch.
