As part of International Women's Day we invite you into the DesignInc
Sydney and Nguluway DesignInc studio to hear four inspiring and
passionate leaders talk about how, and why, we should embrace equity
in 2023. Well be talking with our esteemed panelists about equity,
diversity and inclusion across their teams, organisations and broader
society. We'll be touching on a range of topics, including: What does
equity mean to you? Do you see awareness of equity, diversity and
inclusion evolving across workplaces, households and general society?
Have you experienced or witnessed any equity challenges either
personally or professionally? What are the benefits of embracing
equity within an organisation, and how can organisations make a
difference? How do you embrace equity? Panellists Zoe Cameron
Director, Deloitte PDS Group As a Director for Deloitte PDS Group, Zoe
has over 18 years of national and international knowledge and
experience on large and complex, multi-faceted projects across
multiple sectors, including education, commercial, infrastructure, and
precinct development for both government and private clients. Zoe is
experienced at leading and coordinating complex projects and project
teams, from both a management perspective and a strategic perspective.

there is no limit to our potential. Uma Oldham Head of Group Marketing
at SBS, Co-Chair SBS Multi As Head of Group Marketing at SBS, Uma
leads a team of 20 amazing people to deliver marketing strategies and
campaigns for SBS key content and platforms across paid, earned and
owned channels. She is a collaborative, authentic and creative leader
who nurtures energy within teams to drive them forward. She is an SBS
Diversity and Inclusion ambassador, and aims to elevate others, cut
through the noise, collect new experiences and bring a different
perspective through listening and understanding. I believe as leaders
it is our duty to slow down, be vulnerable and create a safe space for
our team. Kate Hannaford New Business Manager, John Holland Kate has
over 20 years experience in marketing and business development in
design, construction, and the media. As an innovator and strategist,
she leads change and facilitates business growth through the support
of transformational work practices.A trained coach and journalist,
Kate is a passionate advocate for diversity within the construction
industry. Applying a Design Thinking framework, she engenders
innovation and critical thinking across teams. With an extensive
network across the property industry, she well understands the
opportunities and challenges presented as we move towards equality.
Change is not a straight line; it is lumpy and bumpy. Persistence and
self-knowledge are required to engage in an honest dialogue and to
create meaningful engagement and momentum. Cameron Martin Principal,
DesignInc A highly experienced architect, Cameron Martin is head of
the Health and Education portfolios at DesignInc Sydney. He also leads
the Business Development and Marketing team. Cameron is driven to
improve peoples everyday experiences through design. He brings a
collaborative, human-centred approach to his work, consulting with key
stakeholdersincluding clients, the project team and end usersto
understand each project and ensure the best possible outcome for all.
His approach has been informed by years as a project architect, he is
pragmatic and rigorous, with a focus on quality documentation and
clear communication at every step. It sounds like a cliche, but my
mission is to drive every project and every team member to design
excellence. I believe this is only achieved through a solid company
