Join us for a wonderful morning celebrating NAIDOC Week with Vaughn
McGuire! VAUGHN WILL LEAD A PROGRAM OF STORIES, song, sharing
knowledge, artefacts and artwork. Children will make a woven headband,
using the colours of the Aboriginal and Thursday Islander flags. There
will also be a kangaroo sausage sizzle.Vaughn McGuire is a Whadjuk
Nyoongah man. He is an educator and his experience includes working
with youth in the area of mental health.
This event is for PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN AGED 6 TO 12 YEARS. Please
do not book younger children as places are limited and this is a
school holiday event. THE EVENT IS FREE, BUT BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL.
Don't forget to cancel your booking if you are unable to attend once
you have booked, as the ticket can then be released for someone else
to enjoy.
