Salon Series: George Webber on Vivian Maier

Master photographer George Webber will shed light on the enigmatic career and artistic practice of the fascinating Vivian Maier and share a little-known story of the time that Maier took a photograph in Calgary. Refreshments provided.

George Webber has been photographing the people, landscape and architecture of the Canadian west for over 40 years. His books include Requiem, A World Within, People of The Blood, Last Call, In This Place, Prairie Gothic, Badlands and Alberta Book. In 2019 he received the Doug and Lois Mitchell Outstanding Calgary Artist Award.
