KANA'TA: Halifax Canada Day 2025

KANA'TA: HALIFAX CANADA DAY 2025Join us on the Halifax Waterfront for a day of celebration and community. Take part in the Mawio’mi, a traditional Mi’kmaq welcome, followed by Main Stage performances from DJ Shub, Boogey the Beat, Manteasah, DJ Nish, Joe H Henry and more. Enjoy family-friendly activities throughout the day across the Municipality including the Halifax Commons, Halifax Citadel and the Canada Day Parade! Conclude the evening with a stunning fireworks display in the Harbour! All events are free, all ages, and open to the public. This whole program is possible thanks to Canadian Heritage, Pepsi, Bell Globe Media and the Halifax Regional Municipality The Halifax Regional Municipality is located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi’kmaq people. The municipality acknowledges the Peace and Friendship Treaties signed in this Territory and recognizes that we are all Treaty People
