S'en suivra une discussion sur la stigmatisation de la santé mentale dans les sociétés africaines contemporaines avec les commissaires de l'exposition. Moridja Kitenge Banza [né en 1980, Kinshasa, R.D.Congo] est un artiste canadien d'origine congolaise. Il est diplômé de l'Académie des Beaux-arts de Kinshasa (1999) et de l'École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Nantes Métropole en France (2008). En 2010 il reçoit le 1er prix de la Biennale de Dakar pour a vidéo Hymne à nous et son installation de 1848 à nos jours. This will be followed by a discussion on the stigmatization of mental health in contemporary African societies with the curators of the exhibition. Moridja Kitenge Banza is a Canadian artist of Congolese origin, born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. He graduated from the Académie des beaux-arts de Kinshasa and l’École supérieure des beaux-arts de Nantes Métropole. His practice interrogates the history, memory and identity of the places he inhabits or has formerly inhabited, particularly the place he occupies within them. His projects consist of paintings, installations, photographs, drawings and videos. In 2010, he received the first prize at the Dakar Biennale for the video Hymne à nous and his installation De 1848 à nos jours.
