Preserving and promoting the heritage of architect and designer Edgar Wood in Middleton and the surrounding area. Our mission is to help promote and preserve the heritage of architect and designer Edgar Wood in Middleton and the surrounding area, and in particular the Arts & Crafts Church. The Society was formed in 2011 as The Friends of the Edgar Wood Centre (Long Street Methodist Church & School) following the purchase of the property by the Heritage Trust for the North West.
