Are you looking to build valuable business partnerships? Discuss the
latest issues and innovations in the coffee industry? Cup and purchase
exceptional coffees, including experimentally processed ones?In
partnership with GUATEMALAN COFFEES, we're proud to announce that the
next PRODUCER & ROASTER FORUM WILL BE HELD IN GUATEMALA, a leading
coffee origin. Moreover, at the 2019 PRODUCER & ROASTER FORUM, the
world’s first coffee blockchain auction, will be launched in
partnership with Yave [https://www.yave.io/].
Spread over 5 days, you’ll stay and sleep on a coffee farm, learn
about production and processing methods direct from world-leading
producers, hear international speakers present, cup coffees from
around the globe. Also, international guests will be invited to attend
the pre-auction cupping for the world's first blockchain auction!
Why Guatemala? With over 125,000 producers and eight distinct growing
regions, Guatemala offers considerable cup variety. Within each
region, there are numerous varieties and terroirs. Young, innovative
producers are taking advantage of the 300+ microclimates across the
country and experimenting with exotic, honey, and natural coffee
processing, in addition to the washed processing Guatemala is famous
for.
Previous year’s events in El Salvador and Brazil generated
significant coffee sales and led to thought-provoking discussions on
topics from how specialty buyers can improve their relationship with
producers to hiring the right coffee employees and what specialty
coffee can learn from the fine cacao industry. Attendees came from
Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and North & South America.
