As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise. When: Tuesday, November 20, 2018 Where: 590, 1st Cross, 12th Main, HAL, 2nd Stage, Indiranagar, Bengaluru; Ph: +91-7305297673 Participation Fee: Rs. 2500 (incl. of material cost) This will be a 2.5-3 hour long workshop, where you will learn the history and philosophy behind Kintsugi, as well as how to do Kintsugi on your own. You can bring your own broken pottery, in case there’s something you want to fix, however, we will provide broken pottery as well. You will learn how to apply the lacquer and gold dust to the pottery.
