Maryland Defense Technology Commercialization Center (DefTech) - is an initiative of the Maryland Department of Commerce, funded by the Department of Defense Office of Economic Adjustment and the US Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration through its Regional Innovation Strategies Program and includes twelve partner organizations across the state for the purpose of helping entrepreneurs take defense technologies to market. Venture Access, Inc. - is a regional economic development partner, growing the economy one entrepreneur at a time. Serving Northeastern Maryland, this private not-for-profit organization supports entrepreneurs in their quest to successfully formulate, launch and grow profitable companies. Harford Community College (HCC) - provides accessible, innovative, learner-centered educational opportunities. As an open-access institution, the College promotes graduation, transfer, individual goal attainment, and career and workforce development. The College fosters lifelong learning, global awareness, and social and cultural enrichment. Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) - provides innovative research, development and engineering to produce capabilities for decisive overmatch to the Army against the complexities of the current and future operating environments in support of the Joint Warfighter and the Nation. Northeastern Maryland Technology Council (NMTC) - connects the most successful technology companies in the world, energetic growing enterprises, government and academic leaders into a collective force to accelerate economic growth, build the STEM Educated Workforce and drive technology and innovation in Maryland. Maryland’s fast growing technology council with over 200 members, advocates and supporters providing access to technology, industry, academic and government leaders in Harford County, Cecil and Baltimore Counties. America's SBDC Maryland - is a partnership between the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of Maryland and the University of Maryland, College Park. SBDC links private enterprise, government, higher education and local economic development organizations to provide high-quality training, confidential consulting and market and industry research to Maryland's small businesses.
