About ACT I The Aging Community Team (ACT I) is a non-profit, partnership organization comprised of area businesses and individuals who are dedicated to serving and servicing the senior and disabled population in the greater Coachella Valley. We seek to partner with local non-profit organizations in support of programs that serve the needs of the local senior and disabled population and we provide scholarships to deserving students who are committed to entering the field of health care. We are committed to truly making a difference in the lives of those we touch and to attracting members who wish to serve with passion and integrity. Throughout the year, ACT l organizes several community events and fundraising activities such as “Casino Royale Casino Night” and “Fat Thursday Mardi Gras Celebration and Gumbo Cook Off”. We just started a new bowling fundraiser – “Strike it Rich”, as a competition with other networking groups. This group DOES have fun! Our Board Members are volunteers and many serve on the boards and committees of other non-profit organizations to support valuable programs they offer our community.
