AJC is a human relations and advocacy organization with a global architecture that includes 22 domestic offices, 11 overseas posts and 36 international partnerships.  Its mission is to enhance the well-being of the Jewish people and to advance human rights and democratic values in the U.S. and around the world.  Over its 112-year history, AJC has evolved into the premier global Jewish advocacy organization. Temple Shalom is a Jewish Reform congregation, created in 1965, with a mission to inspire in our congregation an enduring relationship with God, Torah, Israel and the Jewish people through worship, study, gathering and community service. Temple Shalom is an integral and leading part of the Jewish community in Dallas and of the Union of Reform Judaism (URJ) and is active in interfaith relations across the Metroplex. The Jewish/Latino Alliance (JLA) is an advocacy network representing leaders from both communities that seek to advance shared values and speak out on issues of common concern.  Created in 2008 as an affiliate of AJC Dallas, JLA members have participated jointly in leadership trainings, legislative advocacy and networking opportunities. AJC and Temple Shalom are both non-partisan 501(c)3 organizations.  JLA, an affiliate of AJC Dallas is a wholy non-partisan entity.
