The Alamo Kiwanis Club reflects the purpose of Kiwanis International: To help children. The volunteer-run non-profit organization has approximately 100 community members and meets weekly. The Alamo Kiwanis Club produces two major fundraisers each year to benefit local children's charities: The Western Heritage Art Show and Fiesta Noche del Rio.
