Birth Matters

Welcome to Birth Matters! We are a childbirth education center in Fort Wayne, IN, offering Childbirth Preparation, Breastfeeding, and Newborn Care classes for the pregnant mother and her support person. We also provide a community of support with many classes and activities for parents and their babies during the transition into parenthood. We believe a broad range of information empowers parents-to-be to make their own best choices and decisions regarding labor, birth, and postpartum. Of course, no amount of information can truly make known or predictable the realities and details of each experience. But what it can do is lessen anxiety and build confidence as parents prepare to step into the unknown. So whether you choose to work with a doctor or a midwife or to have your baby in a hospital or at home, Birth Matters' classes and activities will provide you the information and support you need to make informed decisions about your pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
