Colloquia at Columbia University

Mission Statement: We, Colloquia, believe in the free exchange of ideas as a fundamental value to any academic environment. We are a nonpartisan organization that values free speech, diversity of thought, and the cultivation of the individual. Additionally, we hope to promote freedom of speech and the exchange of ideas on campus by inviting speakers to discuss issues from a wide range of perspectives. Our members will participate in speaking exercises through discussion-based events, challenging their perspectives and how they engage with material.
