My desire to take an active and positive role in my community stems from my parents and the values they instilled in me at an early age. They taught me that in order to bring about change or resolve a problem, you have to get involved and take action. They also taught me the importance of having integrity, making reasoned decisions, and being open minded. Serving as an Albany City Court Judge since 2005 has brought together my commitment to public service, my dedication to the well-being of our community, and my deep-rooted commitment to justice. I am passionate about treating individuals who come before me with respect and fairness, and I never lose sight of the fact that my decisions affect a human being and impact the quality of life in our community.
