DAMA Australia

DAMA (Data Management Association) International is a not-for-profit, vendor independent association of technical and business professionals dedicated to advancing the concepts and practices for data resource management and enterprise information. The primary purpose of DAMA is to promote the understanding, development, and practice of managing data to support business strategies.  DAMA has chapters and members throughout the world. DAMA has been in operation for over 20 years in Australia and there are active DAMA chapters in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Parramatta, Canberra and Brisbane. DAMA runs meetings, seminars and workshops on data related topics. It provides a forum for information management practitioners to network and exchange information and experiences.
