Emeryville Economic Development Advisory Committee

The Emeryville Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) provides input and recommendations regarding policies and priorities related to the City’s economic development activities and strategies.  In 2017, the City Council adopted an Economic Development Strategy for the City that capitalizes on the City's strength as a center of Art and Innovation.  The Strategy highlights the organization of business networking meetings as a priority action.  The EDAC has approved a quarterly networking events program to provide a venue for Emeryville businesses to interact with each other, strengthen economic ties between businesses and to provide a communication tool between the City and its business community.
