The IM+CANS Training Office is a statewide partnership between the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services, the School of Social Work at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and Dr. John Lyons and Chapin Hall. The Office provides dedicated training and supports to Medicaid-enrolled behavioral health providers across Illinois, including supporting the implementation of the Illinois Medicaid- Comprehensive Assessment of Needs and Strengths, which is a lifespan assessment and treatment planning tool customized to meet the needs of Illinois residents.
