Instant Treeline

campfire rock with a city groove Instant Treeline is a Brooklyn-based folk-rock band founded in 2016 by Will Leet, a musician and Chris Burns, a poet. The group’s songs are led by intricate lyrics and acoustic guitar soundscapes, juxtaposing the fast pace of life in New York City and the beckoning call of rural America. Hints of folk, pop, rock, country and Americana styles are found throughout the group’s work. The current lineup includes Will Leet on guitar and vocals, Dane Scozzari on drums, Jeff Koch on bass and Stoddard Blackall on keys and vocals. Since spring of 2016, they have performed monthly at notable New York City clubs, including Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End and Mercury Lounge. In December 2016, the group released its debut EP, “Morning Songs," which is available on all major streaming services. They have toured New England throughout 2017 in support of the EP and have already begun work on its followup. Fans of Good Old War, Ryan Adams and Guster will find themselves enjoying Instant Treeline.
